In connection with the international Move Week, on the Day of Hungarian Youth Sport, Szeged Youth House held a program of youth activities.
During the event we opened an educational path about the natural features of the flood area and sustainable living. It’s been made by colleagues at Youth House and a group of high-schooler volunteers. The making of PartBorétum fits into the international Leaders programme, which is an intercontinental web of socially active organizations – Ecuador, Sénégal, Nepal, India, France, Italy, Hungary – , holding local events about green thinking, keeping in touch and helping each other.
During the afternoon kids could try dragon boats (a paddling boat with 18-20 rows), orienteering and salsa dance. Those who preferred to sit (without paddling) could watch dance performances or craft things out of natural materials.
